On AI Day which is September 30, Elon musk introduced Tesla’s humanoid robot called Optimus.

Elon Musk introduced the car company Tesla’s new robot ‘Optimus’.
OPTIMUS IS IN THE DEVELOPMENT PROCESS
Stating that they are working on the development of artificial intelligence and its reflection on daily life, Musk said that they are still in the early stages of the study.
Tesla Bot still has a long way to go. The robot with artificial intelligence, which took the stage for the first time without the need for any connection at the event called Tesla Artificial Intelligence Day, can now walk and interact with the objects around it.
In the event, where information about the physical and software features of the robot was given, Tesla Bot ‘Optimus‘ interior part made a short walk. Then, with the help of Tesla employees, the robot made some movements with its outer case.
ROBOT INDUSTRY WILL BE VALUABLE THAN THE CAR INDUSTRY
Stating that humanoid robots are currently lacking in “brain”, Musk stated that these robots currently do not have the intelligence to act on their own in the world. Tesla CEO also stated that these robots are currently very expensive and can be produced in small numbers.
PRICE OF ROBOT OPTIMUS
On the other hand, Musk reported that Optimus, unlike existing robots, will be “very capable” and that they will manufacture millions of units. The price of ‘Optimus’ is expected to be $20,000 dollars.
WHEN CAN YOU BUY ROBOT OPTIMUS?
Two prototype Tesla Bots had the ability to walk, wave their arms, and grasp objects. Elon Musk, the company’s CEO, predicts that they will eventually cost $20,000 and go on sale in 2027.
